Within easy reach from the villa is the stunning Gulf of Mexico, offering mile upon mile of white sandy beaches and warm turquoise seas, where dolphins, pelicans and manatees can often be seen in their natural environment.
The villa backs onto a lake, ideal for any keen fisherman, and if fishing is your thing, there is no place like nearby Boca Grande, the Tarpon fishing capital of the world.
Watersports, fishing and boat charters are available from local marinas, and to cater for the golfing enthusiast there are three championship golf courses on the door step.
The area is also served by a variety of supermarkets, stores and fantastic restaurants to cater for all tastes, providing a variety of quality food at reasonable prices.
To the north are the theme parks and tourist attractions at Tampa and Orlando, close enough to visit, but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle, whilst to the south there is the Everglades, Captiva, Sanibel & Marco Islands, Miami and the Keys.
